Move to Florida, Or Not?

Last week, we had to contemplate a decision of whether to move to Florida so that I could work as a VCO Account Executive or stay put in Chicago:

At a Career Crossroads.

Yes, I know I’m going to regret Florida in the middle of a brutal Chicago winter and y’all can razz me about that in mid-February.  But at least summer will come around again and I’ll be here:

I, for one, am glad you’re staying put! <3

The good news is, you’ll avoid hurricanes and giant flying bugs!

Though I have to admit, I fantasize about Florida every single year during January and February!

Tough choice…! I feel you did make a good decision, putting aside your passions for your family’s sake. I don’t blame the kids for objecting because it’s only once that you graduate from HS with YOUR friends that you grew up with…!! I would have done the same thing.

Perhaps after the kids are all grown….you could dream again! 🙂

    To my relief, she reconsidered.

It made me realize how we take our siblings for granted, and our neices and nephews.

Time to visit more. You live your dreams, but sometimes, you need to reconsider the impact.

Woke me up to the fact that someday, you won’t be as accesible, and I realized I needed to spend more time with you! And, my darling once little, but now taller than me, nephews and neice. Don’t go, not yet!

Yes, think about that awful humidity and heat in the summer! *grin* You have to follow your heart, hon. Stay happy and healthy!

I hope you had a terrific Thanksgiving. I am glad to be home after spending an eternity at grandma’s house following her surgeries. She’s better now 🙂

    Big hugs to you!

Well, now that it’s clear you won’t go, I look forward to visiting without the cockroaches!

Nita, I totally agree with you. Family is our first priority at certain time and after the children grows up you can again enjoy.
